Getting into Tech

I have heard a lot of people keep saying "I want to go into tech" and I keep on asking them what aspect of tech do you want to venture into, what aspect of tech that intrigues you the most and I get to find out that most of them don't actually know what exactly they want to do in tech, They are all intrigue by the word tech and the money they have heard a "Tech bro" and "Tech sis" makes from it. It is okay to be into tech for the money though, but you shouldn't just have the hunger for the money, you should also have the will and passion for it because that's what will keep you when the going gets tough. Lol, don't mean to scare you though. 😉

Some Branches of Tech

We have a lot of tech branches and sub-branches but I am going to mention a few popular ones and give a short explanation about them and their sub-branches if any, so let's dig in.

1. Web development: Web development is the process of building websites and applications for the internet, or for a private network known as an intranet. As simple as the definition, it is quite a wide branch where as there are so many ways to achieve this using different programming languages especially the basics which consists of HTML, CSS and Javascript, there are other programming languages like Reactjs, Vuejs, Angularjs, Php, Laravel, Nodejs, Nextjs, Nestjs, Python and so much more. 2. Product Design: Product design is the process designers use to blend user needs with business goals to help brands make consistently successful products. Product designers work to optimize the user experience in the solutions they make for their users—and help their brands by making products sustainable for longer-term business needs. In a lay man's language, Product design is the process of making a good impression of a product to the public using design. It has to do with Research, knowing how to conduct a research/survey is very necessary in this aspect of tech. They explain your product/website/mobile app into a design which has beautiful User Interface (UI) and simple User Experience (UX). 3. Mobile Development: Mobile development refers to creating applications and any other kind of software development specific to mobile devices, including tablets and smart watches. 5. Cyber Security: Cyber security is the practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks. It's also known as information technology security or electronic information security.
